The size of Honda HR-V is very competitive, with a wheelbase of 2610mm that stands out among the crowd. And since it's called an SUV, we have to talk about the minimum ground clearance. The minimum ground clearance of the Honda HR-V is 170mm for the four-wheel drive model and 185mm for the front-wheel drive model, which is much better than the 135mm of its senior brother CR-V.

Honda HR-V is equipped with a 1.5L direct-injection DOHC i-VTEC engine with a maximum power output of 97kW (132PS)/6600rpm and a peak torque of 156Nm/4600rpm. There is also a hybrid model, which is based on the 1.5L engine of the conventional model, plus an electric motor with a maximum output of 22kW (29.5PS). The 1.5L conventional power model is equipped with a CVT gearbox, with a fuel consumption of 4.9L/100km; the 1.5L hybrid model is equipped with a 7-speed DCT dual-clutch gearbox, with a fuel consumption of only 3.7L/100km.
In terms of appearance, the new Honda HR-V adopts a shield-shaped front grille with through-type LED daytime running lights inside the grille. The front enclosure is equipped with large brake air guides, which are practical and aggressive at the same time.
On the side of the body, the new Honda HR-V adopts a relatively traditional SUV shape, which greatly preserves the seating space inside the car. On the lower side of the door, the car introduces black trim strips to further enhance the fashion sense of the vehicle. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of HR-V are 4569/1840/1621 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2655 mm. At the lower part of the door, the car has a very strong fold line, which further enhances the sense of strength of the vehicle.
The rear of the car also adopts a through-type taillight design, and the rear shape of the car is full of layers. As can be seen from the official pictures, the hybrid version adopts a hidden exhaust layout; the pure fuel version, mid-range and high-end models, adopt a bilateral exhaust layout with two outlets in total.
