The current New Tharu adopts the Rock-Cutting design concept for its exterior. The raised lines on the ridge-like hood enhance its muscular appeal, while the wide-body dual U-shaped full LED headlights sweep upward, with the grille bars extending into the headlights.
The interior features a horizontal layout, with IMD material trim panels elevating the sense of sophistication. A large trim panel integrates the instrument cluster, display screen, and air vents into a unified design.
The vehicle measures 4458 mm in length, 1841 mm in width, and 1632 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2680 mm. The unladen ground clearance is 182 mm, while the seating space height for front and rear passengers reaches 1013 mm and 975 mm, respectively. The trunk offers a standard capacity of 455 liters, expandable to 1543 liters with the 60/40 split-folding rear seats. The number of storage spaces throughout the cabin has been increased to 33.
The New Tharu offers 1.5T and 2.0T engine options. The 2.0T engine delivers a maximum power.
